Walker Timber were proud to pay a part in the Jubilee celebrations last summer as Castle Hill is played its part in the nationwide celebrations.
The beacon was constructed by Walkers before being lifted into place ahead of the lighting ceremony, involving local scouts from the 11th Huddersfield North Outlane Scout Group.
Castle Hill is an appropraite venue for the celebrations as the Victoria Tower was actually built to commemorate Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee in 1897.
